Someone linked to this YouTube video on Twitter last night and I found it very interesting. So we all know that online fantasy is supposed to be the next big thing. If you look around you will see all sorts of predictions about DFS having the potential to become the next $70 billion industry.

It was only a matter of time before some of the people who have, have the potential I designed all these fantasy homepages and decided to launch a product that would allow ordinary people like you and me to run our own fantasy pages. Finally, real money fantasy leagues are legal in the United States. There’s nothing wrong with running your own fantasy website.

WordPress Plugins Page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/fantasy-sports/

This WordPress or PHPFox plugin claims to turn any website into a full-fledged fantasy site for only $97 per month. That’s the first thing I’ve seen along those lines. I’ve come across a few white label providers whose business model is to help people set up branded “skins” of fantasy websites, but I’ve never seen anything that offers a plug and play version of your promises its own standalone website – and certainly not that cheap.

I was interested in the video, but I’m not willing to give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down. We have no plans to launch our own fantasy site here – there are already so many existing sites to talk about and check out. Well, I’m not going to tell you if that’s good or bad because I honestly don’t know enough about it.

Besides – be sure to check out the WordPress plugins page for more info get ratings from previous users. This one definitely got some mixed reviews. I also noticed that the YouTube video has comments disabled. Not sure what to think of this, but it’s worth mentioning.

Here’s what I gleaned from reading the website and watching the video:

Fan Victor is a plugin for WordPress and PHPFox. All you have to do is install it on your website, configure the settings, set up a PayPal account and you can start hosting your own real money fantasy leagues for your visitors. Fan Victor provides you with real-time sports statistics, functional software for your visitors and helps to handle all deposits and withdrawals.

At the moment Fan Victor hosts PICKEM games, PICKEM spread games and MONEYLINE games . In all of these types of games, you pick the winners of the games either directly (pickem) or based on a spread or moneyline. The contestants who make the most predictions in 10 games win the league and get paid.

They don’t have traditional draft games like you see on the other mainstream fantasy sites, but this one does it is supposed to come in 2015. The games right now are all quick back-and-forth events where you pick the winners of the games and compete against other people without actually putting together a full team.

Fan Victor will provide you with everything what you need. You get a gaming lobby, your customers have the ability to create their own accounts and make deposits, the ability to choose how much rake you take from the games, and the option to set up virtual currency for users to buy with real Money and then convert them back to real money when they’re ready to cash out.

The plugin supports Fantasy NBA, NFL, NHL, CBB, CFB, International Soccer and MMA. You can also create your own leagues with custom prize pools and even set up leagues in entirely new sports. From what I can tell it looks like a flexible plugin.

Is it legal?

Real money fantasy websites are legal in the US. All of the biggest names you see in the industry today are headquartered here in the United States. So in that sense, it is not illegal to start your own fantasy website.

However, I would recommend seeking legal advice from a qualified attorney before proceeding. Fantasy sports in and of themselves are legal, but that doesn’t mean you have leeway under the fantasy umbrella to do whatever you want. There are still a multitude of rules and regulations that must be followed. For example, check out what happened to FanDuel in Florida as a result of their new player deposit bonus.

I would also recommend being cautious when dealing with PICKEM-style fantasy games. We’re not lawyers here at FantasySites.com, but we know that PICKEM fantasy games where you simply choose the outcomes of games (and especially when it comes to a spread or moneyline) push the boundaries. A number of sites have been offering these games with no legal issues so far so it might be fine.
