You can add your account to the default iOS Mail app on your iPad, or install Google’s Gmail app and add the account from there.

Instructions for adding a Gmail account to your iPad’s Mail app

1. Launch the Settings app.

2. Tap on “Passwords & accounts”.

3. Tap on “Add account”.

To add, tap “Add Account” in “Passwords & Accounts” settings. a new Gmail account on your iPad.

4. Tap “Google”.

5. In the pop-up window, enter your Gmail email address, then tap Next.

You only need to enter your email address and password to add a Gmail account to the Mail app .

6. On the next page, enter your password and tap Next.

7. Start the Mail app. You should see the Gmail account.

How to add a Gmail account to your iPad using the Gmail app

1. If you haven’t already installed the Gmail app, start with it. Launch the App Store app and search for Gmail. When you find the app, install it on your iPad.

2. Launch the Gmail app. If this is your first time launching Gmail and you haven’t set up any Gmail accounts on iPad, you need to tap Sign In at the bottom of the screen.

When you launch the Gmail app for the first time, you simply need to log in with your Gmail account email address and password.

3. Tap “Google”.

4. In the pop-up window, enter your Gmail email address, then tap Next.

5. On the next page, enter your password and tap Next.

After setting up your first Gmail account, you can easily add more.

In the Gmail app, tap your profile picture to the right of the search box, then tap Add Another Account. Follow the prompts to enter your email address and password.

To add more Gmail accounts, tap the account picture to reveal the option to add another account.
