Generate an app password in Gmail on the web
Follow the steps below to generate an IMAP or POP email password in the Gmail web app:
1. Sign in to your Gmail inbox.
2. Click on your account icon and select the Manage Google Account link.

4. Scroll down to the Sign in with Google section and select the App passwords option. If you don’t have 2-Step Verification enabled, you should enable it to generate app passwords.
