How to Set the Logo of Your Website in Thrive Theme Builder

Setting a logo for your website can be done very easily with Thrive Theme Builder.

Adding the logo

The first thing you need to do to get started is to access the Thrive Theme Builder dashboard.

To do this, hover over “Thrive Dashboard”:

In the submenu that opens, click “Thrive Theme Builder” to access the Thrive Theme Builder dashboard:

The Thrive Theme Builder dashboard will open. Here, click on the “Branding” section on the left sidebar:

Here you will find the branding options like “Theme color”, “Logo” and “Favicon”. Click on the “Logo” section to expand it:

You can then see all the available “Logo” options:

You can upload both a dark version and a light version of the logo and choose later in the templates which one should be displayed. Uploading two versions of the logo is entirely optional.

To upload one or both logos, click on the images below the text “Dark Version” or “Light Version”:

A popup will open where you can select the logo. You can either upload an image or select one that you have previously uploaded to your media library:

Then click on the logo to select it it:

Then click the blue “Choose” button at the bottom right of the screen:

Do the same for the other version of the logo, if you want:

After uploading one or both versions of the logo, you can go ahead and set the URL of the website that the logo points to (usually the home page). Just paste the URL in the box below the “Logo linked to” option:

After pasting the link, click “Save URL”:

Then you will see a success message like this:

After that you can use the logo in your templates.

Use the logo in the Templates

Once the logo has been set, you can open a template, edit it and use the logo. To do this, go to “Templates” in the Thrive Theme Builder dashboard:

This will open a page with all your templates. Select the template you want to add the logo to, hover over it and click Edit:

This will open the Thrive Theme Builder editor and you can add the logo.

As an example, I’ll add the dark version of the logo to the “Header” section of the template and the light version to the “Footer” section of my template.

Once the editor is accessed, I’ll click on the “Header” section in the “Main Options” section of the left sidebar:

Then I’ll click on “Edit” so I can add a new element to the section. You cannot insert elements into the section unless you access “Edit Mode”. See the article for this section for more information.

Once you get into “Edit Mode”, go to the right sidebar and click the plus sign:

Search for here the “Logo” element or search for it in the search bar:

Then drag and drop it into the “Header” section:

After placing it If you want it paste into the section, the logo you previously uploaded will be imported automatically.

The options for the “Logo” element will appear in the left sidebar. Below you can find the logo variants (dark/light).

This means that if you have uploaded both versions of the logo to the Thrive Theme Builder dashboard, you can select which one to use here:

Also, you can choose a add a new logo variant or change the previously inserted URL. For more information on using these options, see this article.

In the Footer section, the steps are similar. I select “Footer” from the “Main Options” in the left sidebar:

Then I click “Edit” so that I can add the “Logo” element to the “Footer”. Section. If this isn’t clear enough or you’re not sure what “Edit Mode” is, see this article for more details on how to use the “Footer” section.

I prefer the ” Logo” element into the “Footer” area, just like in the case above:

The only change I will make is to select the “Light” logo -Version , from the left sidebar:

Depending on what aspect you want your website to have, you can add more variations to the logo .
