Create a VM for hosting your website.
Google Cloud provides the feature to easily host a secure and reliable website. With Google Cloud, you can get more work done for less. Virtual machines are very similar to our physical hardware machines, but we cannot see them with the naked eye. It provides the functionality of the physical computer over the cloud and can access it over the internet.
Follow the steps below to create a VM for your website.

- Go to Google Cloud Platform Console.
- In the navigation menu, click Compute Engine
- $ vi /var/www/html/index.html To create a new default home page.
- Type i on the keyboard, to edit the document in the vi editor
- Create your web page with HTML. See the commands and image below for reference.
